05.03.2016, 0,5l bottle @ home:
Nice creamy mediumlasting head, hazy. Aroma is slightly sour-ish foresty, pine needles, rubber, moss, leafs, bark, hops, sour grass, hay, soda powder, citrus peel. Taste is slightly dry sour-ish, weeds, leafs, moss, pine needles, soda powder, citrus peel, hay, hops, minerals. Medium bitterness, slightly dry mouthfeel. Nice enough. A quite unusual and interesting berlinerweisse. But there should have been more sourness in it...

50cl bottle from Gulating ølutsalg, Larvik. Pours hazy yellow with a large, white head. Slightly fruity and a both yoghurty with notes of wheat and sour berries. Moderate sweet with nice acidity and mild flavours. Nothing too special, but refreshing and fairly tasty.

On tap at Patrick’s. A dark brown beer with a dense finger thick head. Nice lacing. Roasted aroma with some sourish fruit notes and a touch of coffee and dark chocolate. It’s medium bodied, quite dry and with a nice carbonation level. Roasted malts, licorice, a touch of sour berries and some chocolate in the flavor, lasting for a good while. A decent brown ale, but nothing impressive going on. 160227

On tap @ Patricks. Brown body with a medium sized, lacing bige head. Aroma is malty with caramel. Flavor is a bit disapointing, quite weak, some malt and carmal with a dry, almost slightly sour finish. Quite thin and watery body, average aftertaste. Brown ale is not the most exiting beer style, and average brown ale is often a boring one in my book. I like some extra rich malt flavor, often even some chokolate malt, close to a porter is nice. This one is a ligher version of a brown ale.

Tåkete lys brun med to fingre høyt hvitt skum. Lite lukt, noe karamell og hvete. Syrligsøtlig smak. Kan nok funke til lutefisk. Prøvde til skrei, og det var bra. Kort syrlig avsluttning.
