KØLF 131115. Deep golden colour with an off-white head. Aroma is fruit, malt, citrus, yeast. Flavour is fruit, yeast, metallic, malt, citrus, bread, spices. Boring beer.

Tåkete lys brun med fingerhøyt hvitt skum. Lukter sydhavsfrukter, fersken og noe lime. Medium fylde, starter lett søtlig, fruktig før ganske kraftig bitterhet overtar fra midten og holder en stund utover.

500ml bottle from Vinmonopolet Bestillingsutvalget. Shared with djoeye, Skinnyviking and Finn. Patchy layer over a hazy golden body. Smell of wet wool with citric hints. Mid-sweet fruity hops and ripe citrus to the flavour profile. Drying bitter end. Rather beyond par for a ipa (Tromsø 07.12.2015).

Bottle. A hazy, orange-golden beer topped by a small, dense, off-white head. Spiced, yeasty and grainy nose with a fruityness. Orange zest and some pine cones. It’s medium-bodied and quite dry, with a decent bitterness. Some weird bitterness too, as well as citrus zest, pine cones and resins. Malty and yeasty hints. Fruity and yeasty finish. Not my choice of beer. 151212

Pours hazy golden with a white head. Aroma has notes of malt, wheat, yeast and orange. Taste is light sweet and light bitter with a fruity, wheat and yeasty finish. Body is medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.

Pours clear golden with a white head. Aroma has notes of malt, grass, grain, some fruitiness and floral. Taste is light to medium sweet and light to medium bitter with a long dry, grainy, fruity and grassy finish. Body is light to medium, texture is thin, carbonation is fizzy

Bottle. A rocky off-white head forms over a clear golden body. The aroma is very frutiy, with orannges and some green apples, tropical fruit juice blend, and a faint touch of old garbage. Some pale malts. The flavor has a decent bitterness, quite a lot of fruityness and some pale malts. Some garbage here too, but not that much. Rather high carbonation level, medium body and it’s quite dry on the palate. Fruity finish with garbage hints and a nice drying bitterness. Definitely not my beer. 151212

Opens with a quite powerful fizzy noice. Huge fizzy longlasting head, hazy. Aroma is dry citrusy, co2 stinging in the noce, citrus peel, brett, weeds, leafs, fresh hops, grass, hay, yeast, weeds, minerals. Taste is slightly sweet citrusy, weeds, leafs, orange, citrus peel, hay, yeast, grass, minerals, brett, hops, wheat. Medium bitterness, slightly dry mineraly mouthfeel, fizzy carbonation. Fair enough.

Fra flaske (batch 22) på Mi2, Cardinal des-15: uklar strågul med kort skum. Frisk citron med koriander i lettbent eleganse, en syrlig og ganske tørr sommeroppkvikker med heller kort avslutning. Lettdrikkelig.

500 ml bottle, batch #026, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 5.4% (Vinmonopolet version). Pale yellow colour, hazy. Large to moderate coarse white head. Typical witbier aroma and flavour of coriander and citrus, but maybe more coriander than citrus. Also moderate Citra hops. Fairly dry.
