9th July 2016: on-tap in the Napar Brewpub with the RBESG guys. Golden pour, thin white topping. This ’sour puss’ of a beer gives very little indication of it’s taste when you sniff the aroma which although is citrusy in nature does not prepare you for the flavours within. Different. Scored objectively as I do not really like this sort of uber sour beer.

From tap. Pours hazy black with a small tan head. Aroma is roasted and slight fruity. Fruity, dark malty, crisp. Toasted, slight fruity. Toasted and dark malty. Roasted and lingering dark malty finish. Distinct orange fruity.

From tap. Pours hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma is peachy and grapefruity. Grassy and slight herbal to skunky. Bitter, crisp hoppy, graefruity. Dry, bitter and solid hops fruity far finish.

From tap. Pours hazy dark brown to black with a small tan head. Aroma is grapefruity, toasted malty. Orange fruity, peachy and toasted malty. Solid bitter. Crisp hoppy and dry finish.

RBESG 2016 in Barcelona. On tap at BlackLab. IPA, served very fresh, only 3 days old. Deep golden colour. Very hoppy and resinous aroma and flavour.

RBESG 2016 in Barcelona, on tap at BlackLab. Pale golden colour. Aroma and flavour have moderate herbal / spicy notes. The honey is not very distinct. An okay saison, but not the very best I’ve had.

RBESG 2016 in Barcelona, on tap at BlackLab. Golden colour, hazy. "Artificial" aroma and flavour of watermelon. Not really a beer for me. I assume there are valid reasons why watermelon is not a common ingredient in beer.

8th July 2016: on-tap at the BlackLab Brewhouse with the RBESG guys.. Poured a hazy golden yellow with a thin white head. Aroma was all about the watermelon, as was the taste, some mild herbal notes and bit of citrus like flavours but mostly I got watermelon.
