At tap Cardinal 03.10.14. Very hazy pale orange. Dense off-white head that quickly diminishes. Strong aroma of grapefruit, citrus and tropical fruit. Similar taste and aftertaste, with strong bitterness. A hint of pine. Well balanced and in harmony.

On tap at Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. Cloudy deep golden to orange colour, moderate white head. Pleasant aroma of hops, tropical fruits and pine. Distinctly hoppy and very bitter flavour as expected, bitter aftertaste. I admit I had to look up what shiso was - I suppose the shiso also contributes with a certain herbal bitterness.

On tap at Mikkeller Bar Stockholm. Clear golden with a small white head. Sweetish with citrus, berries, some bread and light funk. Some salt in the taste. An interesting and nicely drinkable beer.

Bottled 750ml. -from Svijet Piva Zagreb. Black coloured, medium sized brown head, mild roasty nose. Roasted malt, dark chocolate, licorice and notes of fruits (cherries) with light alcohol presence in rather roasty finish. No trace of popcorn but that’s irrelevant because this one is decent porter.

Sampled draft @ Delirium Hoppy Loft. Hazy orange, creamy white head. Nose is Sprite & juicy hops. Tastes like lime & Sprite, zest, citrus peel, faint sweetish tropical. Sparking. Haha, this really reminds me of Sprite, this is awesome. Would be nice to try some Shiso.

Draft @ Hoppy Loft. Couleur orangée, col fin blanc. Arôme offre un citronné prenant offrant un bouquet acidulé assez unique, est-ce là l’effet du shiso - que je pensais être similaire à la menthe? On retrouve pas mal de notes agrumes mais le tout reste unique avec cette portée citronnée qui sort de l’habitude. Palais offre un acidulé citronné fort agréable et rappelant fortement un yaourt au citron voire la citronnade. Cette astringence est délicate et ajoute une belle dimension à la bière sans pour cela indiquer un style IPA. Malt restent discrets

Tap at Le Ĺ enk.Hazy orange golden color with medium thick off-white head. Nice citrus malty aroma. Solid malty base followed by nice citrus hoppy kick with some herb. Long hoppy bitter finish.
