750 ml bottle, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. Brewed with yuzy juice and zest. ABV is 5.0%. Deep golden colour, moderate white head. Intense sourish aroma of yuzu fruit. Very sour and astringent flavour, notes of yuzu and lemon. Still moreish and refreshing.

Bottle, tasting at Appellation Wines. Hazy golden body with a thin white head. Incredible aroma of limoncello, yeast, lemon, pink grapefruit and champagne. Flavour of sour Skittles and bitter lemon. Very dry. Thin body with a spritzy mouthfeel. Very fizzy. A stunning beer – very sour and intense, yet very drinkable. As Ash put it, “Even lemons aren’t this lemony.”

Bottle, tasting at Appellation Wines. Black body with a thick tan head. Nice lacing. Aroma of dark chocolate, caramel, popcorn and espresso. Flavour of wood, chocolate, espresso and ginger biscuit. Quite dry. Medium body with a smooth then sticky mouthfeel. Light carbonation prickle. Very rich and complex.

Bottle, tasting at Appellation Wines. Hazy golden body with a thin white head that slowly fades. Light lacing. Aroma of wild yeast, tangy Refreshers and lemon sherbet. Flavour of lime sherbet, salt and lemon. Thin body with a spritzy texture. Lively fizz. Much more interesting than Mad Umami. Tangy and savoury.

Medium body with a frothy texture. Light fizz. A fairly typical Mikkeller IPA, not really getting the expected herb/spice from the shiso.
