75cl bottle shared at general beer nerd tasting at Appellation Wines Comely Bank. Appearance - orange and cloudy with a thin head. Nose - limoncello with a herby edge. Taste - sour lemon confectionery. Then Moroccan salted lemons. Palate - medium bodied then extremely sour and bitter to the finish. Overall - good but needs food.

75cl bottle shared at the beer nerd meeting at Appellation Wines Comley Bank. Thanks to either stuu666 or allmyvinyl. Appearance - hazy orange with a small head. Nose - oranges or apricots and honey. Beginning to wonder why it’s called ’bitter’. Taste - loads of orange fruit with orange pith on the end. Ah, it is quite bitter. Palate - medium bodied with a tangy texture and a dry tangy finish. Overall - challenging and very tangy. At the finish up, it definitely was bitter.

The third beer in the beer nerd meeting at Appellation Wines Comely Bank on 28.08.14. Thanks to either allmyvinyl or stuu666. Appearance - opaque black with an oily texture and a lovely fawn head. Nose - honey, popcorn, chocolate and liquorice. Taste - freshly made espresso, with a ginger biscuit edge and then a chocolate finish. Palate - medium bodied with a tannic edge to it. There’s a creamy texture and a balanced dry finish. Overall - A lovely interesting beer. A bit gnarly but worth wrestling with.

Bottle from Cornelius, MAD tasting. Pours hazy lemon yellow, thin white head. Wowzer nose! Bright fresh lemon zest and lemon juice, really sharp. Taste is a big wash of lemon sourness. Really good.
