Golden, clear, frothy white head, some lacing
Aroma of soft pale laget malts, odd savoury note
Taste of soft pale malts, soft savoury, seems to have flavour enhancer added like that Maggi stuff, bit vegetal
Palate - soft carb, thin body. Finish quite dry, soft bitter savoury notes
Overall - Not great, but an interesting beer to try

Golden, slight haze, thin white head
Aroma - Tropical fruits, mango, soft grapefruit
Taste of grapefruit, soft tropical fruits, good fruity flavour, bitter zesty hops
Palate - Soft carb, medium body. Finish - nice zesty bitter hops
Overall - Very good IPA

bottle from ølkbutikken. amber color, light brown head. very clear, looks really good. boozy malty and woody aroma, notes of wood barrelled fruit booze, aroma is in fact really nice, although the alc. is stinging a bit.aroma is as if the alc% was higher than 10. flavor is thin malty, quite a lot of fruit and berry peel. it doesn’t really work out like a solid barley wine, appears thin on the malty side, then strong reg. alc. and then the fruits on top, i would prefer a more malty base to balance the alc and the fruits.

bottle from ølbutikken. cloudy orange, large white head. aroma is dry, herbal,bitter hoppy, very slightly salty. refreshing. flavor is slightly salty, flowery hoppy, quite low on bitterness. Kinda strange, but you might find some food it pairs really well with. On its own’ it’s a bit strange.

bottle from kihoskh, cloudy yellow, no head, but fizzy. pretty strange aroma that is half leather and tart sour like a cantillon, and then half artificial’ish fruity-herbal, not far from some cough-medizine i once got as child, which tasted so strange i still remember vaguely. apart from the sort of artificial part the aroma is quite pleasant. Flavor is citrussy, sourish, herbal, yellow fruity, sourish. quite citrússy fruty with notes of beer , sour beer , stingy herbs, and fruit juice. a juicy kind of sour beer, quite tasty, however, tastes like it does not hold 5%, more like a 2.5% fruit juice/beer mix. Likely a big hit with the right food. Very refreshing.
