Tap @ brewpub. Dark color, short head. Bit sweet, some chocolat. Bit sticky mouthfeel. Nothing spectacular and maybe a little sweet for a stout, lacks some bitterness.

tap at the brewpub - Pours black with a very long lasting tan head. I drank it last from the sampler after nearly an hour and it was still hanging on. The nitro tap means very fine carbonation and a smooth palate. Roast chocolate malt is the main aroma and it’s joined in the flavor by some good hops balance that lingers pleasantly in the finish. It’s a very good stout.

tap at the brewpub - Pours dark brown with a mild caramel malt aroma. As expected the flavor is also dominated by the caramel malts. That’s usually what brown ales are all about. There’s minimal hops presence here. It’s light bodied and really uninspiring.

tap at the brewpub - Pours amber with a mildly citrus accented hop aroma. The caramel malt is joined by moderately bitter hops in this medium bodied, easily quaffed ESB that offers a lingering bitter finish.

tap at the brewery - Pours clear medium amber colored with a caramel malt aroma. The flavor is caramel malt and mild hops. The hops are lighter than the other "red" they were selling, the fire chief red, on the same day. This one is alright for sessions.

tap at the brewpub - Pours lightly hazy bronze, it has a citrus hop aroma with a little caramel malt. The flavor has a solid hops presence. It’s lightly carbonated and smooth drinking with a dry hop finish. Enjoyable.
