6800th rating. Draft at the VA Craft Brewers Festival, Devils Backbone, 8/24/13. Pours a clear amber color with a thin head. Fair head retention. Aroma of caramel, earthy malts and a mild nuttiness. The taste is toffee malts, mild earthy hops. Medium bodied. Solid.

Tap. Ours clear to hazy butterscotch, small of white head, some lacing. Aroma is seeing citrus, grapefruit, passion fruit. Flavor is the same, lightly sweet, light bitter. Creamy mouthfeel, light body. Nice

Draft at the brewpub. Pours a hazy brown color with a large creamy tan head. Good head retention. Aroma of toffee malts with citrus, earthy, resin and floral. hops. The taste is spicy, peppery, herbal, resin and citrus hops with toffee malts. Medium bodied, complex and well balanced.

Draft at the brewpub. Pours a slightly hazy copper color with a large creamy tan head. Good head retention. Huge citrus hops in the aroma with some herbal hops and pale malts. Reminded me of lemonade. The taste is bitter citrus, resin, herbal hops and pale malts. Some mild nuttiness. Medium bodied, lingering bitterness.

The taste is spicy, tropical and citrus hops. Pale malts. Medium bodied, slight lingering bitterness, slightly off balance. Solid.

Draft at the brewpub. Pours a clear dark red color with a thin creamy tan head. Decent head retention. Aroma of earth, resin hops with some chocolate malt. The taste is citrus, earthy hops, brown malt, nuts and a bit of clay. Medium bodied.

Draft sample at VA Beer & Cheer Festival, 12/8/12. Pours a hazy amber color with a medium sized creamy tan head. Decent head retention. Aroma of caramel malts, toffee, green apple and floral hops. The taste is toffee malts and bitter, herbal hops. Medium bodied and refreshing.
