on tap, pours pale gold, thin white head. Hay and grassy aroma with light hop notes and a fishy presence. Skunkish flavor, with a mellow sweet malt finish. Very boring and not pleasant in the finish.

Good, whipped eggwhite-like head over yellow golden beer. Light sweetish maltnose and faint lactic impression, faint fruity ester as canned pineapple. Rather bitterish first impression, then sweet, bready flaovur, that would make it unfortunately alike to moulding bread if it weren’t for the rather fizzy carbonation. Light body, empty. Ending nearly tasteless. Pretty dull, unimportant but also inoffensive. Thanks to Stefaan for the Bulgar haul!

Not much body, no complexity, no character. Probably better to drink the rakia if you are in Bulgaria. I liked Plovdiv though.

The bottle looks good, the beer in the glass like applejuice. Modest hoppy aroma. Tastes like water - very washy. Modest sourish finish. Drinkable, but not really good.

Herb-fruchtiger Geruch und Antrunk wobei sich die Fruchtigkeit als süßliche Getreidigkeit entpuppt. Mild herb, durstlöschend, wenig intensiv. Nur minimal bitter, positiverweiser aber kaum wässrig. Netter Durstlöscher. Test vom 19.9.2008, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 5,7,8,6,8,6 - 6,45

0.5 l can, thanks to Doggythedog who shared it! Poured golden body with medium head that went down fast. Hoppy and malty aroma, some grass and lot of honey. Flavor is well balanced between bitter and sweet. Simple but pleasant, with grass like spices and honey malt. Unfortunately some slight metallicity ruins it. Shorter bitter, not particularly nice finish. Great comparing to the others I’ve tried that day, but actually it’s still just an average pale lager.

0.5l can courtesy of a friend who lugged it halfway through the Balkans from Bulgaria (huge thanks, Krešimir!) Golden colour. Bout time. Medium-big white head that went away at a medium pace. Sweetish honeyish nose, a touch of hop. Pleasant, sweet honeyish malty taste. Light light hop. Whoa... having no off tastes and being drinkable just made this the highlight of the evening. Quite simple and unremarkable but drinkable and kinda likable.

Extrem mild malzig-würziger Antrunk. Im Mittelteil spürbar kräftiger, süßlich, etwas hopfig und würzig. Positiverweise ist dasBier im Abgang noch kräftiger, wenig hopfig, dafür aber herber und ausdrucksstark. Test vom 10.8.2008, Gebinde: PET Noten: 8,7,7,7,5,7 - 7,00

50 cL can, thanks to Papsoe. Pours clear yellow with a collapsing white head. Mild biscuit malt, light cornish and slight bitterhops note in the aroma. Flavour is mild cornish with a minor biscuit/caramel malt like base flavour. Light acidic to bitter before and into the finish. This really isn’t as bad as the ratings it got, clean and crisp.
