28/01/2013 Brasserie 4:20 (tap). Nera, quasi impenetrabile, schiuma cappuccino, leggera ma persistente. Al naso sentori di malti tostati, liquirizia, leggero affumicato. In bocca caffé, cioccolato, liquirizia, leggero affumicato o bruciato, un po’ stucchevole. Corpo medio-leggero, carbonazione soft. Discreta, ma... siamo sicuri che sia una dry stout?

Cask at Open Baladin, Roma - 04/10/12. Clear golden blonde with a big frothy off white head. Nose is very vegetal, peas, corn, grain a little hops and citrus and also slightly nutty. Tastes of malts, grain, a little vegetal but not so much to put you off drinking also a little peppery. Medium bodied with fine carbonation leading to a bitter finish.
