GBBF Day 4. Bottle. Strange title for a beer, someone drop a bottle on the keyboard? Lightly hazy gold beer, thin pale cream colour head. Palate is light, semi dry and has good fine minerally crispness. Smooth malts, wheaty sweetness. Perfumey floral into light candy fruits. Light mildly spicy finish. Amusing.

Keg at Open Baladin, Roma, 22/09/16. Golden blonde with a well appointed off White head. Nose is caramel, banana, yeast esters, light spice, bread dough. Taste comprises lemon rind, clove, banana, white pepper, subtle yeast. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Solid offering for the style.

Draught at GBBF 2016 at 7.8%. It pours hazy rich amber with a medium, foamy white head. The aroma is bitter - sweet, fresh, apricot jam, sherbet, candied fruits, sugary and pine resin. The taste is rich, bitter, pine, resin, sherbet, spicy, orange peel, toasted grass, alcohol hit, pepper, grapefruit and tinned fruit with a dry, peppery finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Fresh and in good condition. Nice stuff.

RBESG 2016 in Barcelona, on tap at BlackLab. Golden colour. Refreshing beer, spicy aroma and flavour with assumed notes of Sorachi Ace hops, lemongrass and dill. I liked this one!
