Bottle. Reddish-copper color with tan head. Aroma is malts, a bit funky. Taste is straw, grains, not malt sweetness, nothing that stands out. Immensely overcarboated. Not very good.

Stark karbonisierter Antrunk. Etwas getreidig, zu trocken. Die Karbonisierung stört bis in den Nachgeschmack. 7/6/5/7//6

Bottle sampled at Lemmy’s, Leiden. Black with a medium tan head. Aroma of roast, licorice, a touch of smoke, green hops, grassy and dark chocolate. Flavour is light moderate sweet and above moderate bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Could be a black IPA. [16-07-2016]

Bottle @ home. Opaque dark brown to black color, full sized decently lasting brown head. Aroma of malts, smoked malts, peat. Taste malts, roast, peated malts, malt bitter. Decent to medium body, medium carbonation. Malts, smokey and peaty, not my thing unfortunately, so not my kind of beer but I can see why others like it.

Tap at Arendsnest, 23rd March 16. Pours clear with a head. Aroma is Belgian yeast, slight sour. Taste is sour, Belgian style IPA, Belgian yeast, slight hops, refreshing. I had to check the bar tender had poured the right beer.
