Can. An unclear orange colored beer with a small white head. Fruity aroma with orange zest, generic fruitiness, alcohol and a piney hint. Yeasty. It's warming and full bodied, softly carbonated and full bodied. Semi sweet, yet with a dryish finish. Decent bitterness. Orange zest, pale malts, white sugar, some generic fruityness and a piney touch in the flavor. Yeast. Lasting sweet, fruity finish that ends quite dry. A bit uninteresting. 240502

Can. An almost black one, topped by a small, dense dark beige head. Gentle aroma, roasted malts, coffee, toffee, a spiced, piney hint and a vague touch of licorice. It's medium to full bodied, softly carbonated, sweet yet dry, and with a touch of alcohol warmth. The flavor has a bit more licorice, else it's the same roasted malts, coffee and dark chocolate. Some spiced notes and toffee, and a good bitterness. Medium length finish. A nice one indeed, but I'd really like a bit more body. 240502
