Buying it at the interspar, Frastanz. Best before 10/24, opening it yesterday, coming back from Paris. Regulat beer, brewed on the German style, typical fresh note of malt for the style, a bit fruity, smooth, German bitterness, average.

from tap at Stiegl Ambulanz. brown / reddish hazy colour, medium big off white head. smells of bread, spices. full body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes of berries, forest strawberries, spices, light citric, light bread, bit earthy, light herbs. finishes lightly bitter with notes of berries, bread and notes of spices. nice Austrianized version of an Amber Ale, great berry and bread notes, great drinkability, quite delicate though.

Draught at the brewpub
Hazy golden color. Big head. Nice aroma of malted barley. The body is medium-weak, with some good malt and cereals flavor, and light residual sweetness; the bitterness is correct.
I’m still annoyed by the inflexibility and stupidity of the service, but the beer is not bad.

Draught at the brewpub.
Brown coloured, small off-white head, caramel and burnt sugar nose. Deadly sweet and quite weak beer. Burnt sugar is dominant, also some weak touch of coffee in the finish. Is this attempt to make malzbier???

Draught, 5.1% at the brewpub. Cloudy dark orange color, sparkling. Big stable creamy white head. The flavour is mildly bready, hint of yeast and citrus. Also bready aftertaste, quite pleasant. Low bitterness. Actually tastes a bit of chewed malt.
