Smell -quite weak, caramel, roast, sweetness, but hard to distinguish... Foam - medium thick, quite soft, almost little creamy or oily, some bitterness in background, little carbonation. Taste - coffee roast taste, hops, caramel some malt maybe, not bad, but not easy drinking and would not buy again, putting still 3 as it is ok beer.

Smell = medium strong, not too specific, maybe little roasted. Foam -almost no creaminess, a bit at end, low carbonation, if any, by taste quite sweet, little bitterness, almost no aftertaste. Taste in general - feels carbonated, too sweet, some alcohol flavor, but barely noticeable. I general I would say bit to sweet, don't really like it.

On tap at Beer House No. 1, pours a clear dull yellowish blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out grassy, herbal hops and biscuity malt. Flavour is similar, with herbal and grassy hops, some vegetal notes and bready malt. A bit too vegetal, but it works okay. Solid.

On tap at Beer House No. 1, pours a deep dark brown with a small beige head. Aroma brings out toasted nuts, some bready malt and light herbal, vegetal notes. Flavour is quite sweet, with toasted nuts, caramel malt, and bready notes. On the sweeter side, but it works well. Solid.

Bottle – probably bought in Rimi or Stockmann in Riga Had this one in the cellar for a while – the “best before” date is October last year ! But it doesn’t seem to have had any ill effects. Malt and treacle in the nose. Pours a very dark reddish brown with a tight off-white lingering head . Taste is surprisingly sweet for a Tumsais, cherries, toffee and molasses. Aftertaste is distinctly of coca-cola ! Soft carbonation and an overall light feel. Certainly one I’d drink again.

Bottle in Riga from Rimi Supermarket. Dry malty beginning. Sticky malty, round and smooth, caramel, dry with bread crust in the aroma. Fascinating deep and intense rich, round and malty, nice moderate roasted bitter. Nice one.
