50cl bottle from a Rimi Hypermarket in Latvia. Pours very dark brown with a fairly dens, beige head. Malty and bready with notes of sour dark berries, toasted malt and hints of spices. Strang and surprisingly acidic, maybe not quite as it should be? Anyway less sweet than expected, but it might just be the acidity getting all the attention. Malty and slightly earthy flavours with sour berries. Carbonation is lively and body feels a bit thin. Might be off. but still drinkable at least.

Latgales Dunkel, 5.6%, 0,5l bottle from Alko. Huge cloudy head, dark beer. Aroma has sweet malts, bread and caramel. Taste is also very sweet with malts and caramel. Works well with Christmas food.

50cl bottle from Alko. The beer pours dark brown color with a thick off white head. Mild nutty, really bready malty aroma. Hint of coffee, lots of bready malts in flavor, some toast. Chocolate finish. Quite nice dunkel.

A dark brown beer, a head is big and beige. Aroma has breadyness, some sweetness of syrup, hint of vegetables. Taste has balanced sweetness with syrup, breadyness, some roastiness. Medium bodied, smooth carbonation, and also easy to drink.

50cl bottle from Alko. Bottled on 10.05.2017. Poured golden color with a thick white head. Sweet malty, grainy aroma. Some buttery notes. Flavor has sweet grainy malts, cardboard, butter. Way too sweet.

Deep ruby color, small steady beige head. Rye bread, caramel and light alcohol in the nose. Light to medium-bodied, quite active carbonation. Rye bread, caramel, aspartame. Quite sweet dunkel and feels industrial = typical Latvian.
