Draught at the brewpub. Pale yellow. Non-surprising ginger aroma. Sweet with a marmeladey orange/ginger flavour. The mouthfeel is soft but sticky, and there is no malt flavour nor trace of hop bitterness. instead there is a burning ginger finish. The flavour is, sweetness aside, actually pretty good, but it’s very one-dimensional, and a glass gets tough to finish.

Draught at the brewpub. Hazy deep golden with small creamy head. Fruity and yeasty, extremely sweet. The notes of pineapple are very evident, the sulphur less so. It has generous amounts of flowey hops, a soft mouthfeel and a nicely bitter finish, but the sticky sweetness really puts me off.
