The aromas are slightly more resin than citrus hops and not super fresh. Flavors are somewhat similar and somewhat better than aromas with a little orange coming through and a nice mix of bitter to sweet. Good body, carbonation and bittersweet finish.

500 ml waxed. Aroma has notes of bourbon, vanilla, raisin, licorice, chocolate. Pours extremely dark brown to black with a thin beige head. Taste is lightly sweet with a lightly bitter edge. Very bourbon-forward brew.

16oz can from Tavour. Almost clear golden pour with a one finger fluffy white head. Grainy aroma, biscuit malts. Taste is also malty, grainy, crackers before providing some light hoppy bitterness towards the end.

500mL bottle, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma is full of tannic red wine barrels, followed by moderate roast and wood. Flavour is loaded with wood and red wine barrels upfront, followed by medium roast and more tannic notes. Woody, vinous and tannic. Excellent.

16.9 oz. bottle, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out bright coffee, gentle bourbon barrels, and dark cocoa. Flavour is rich, with loads of coffee and cocoa, accentuated by bourbon barrels, alcohol, and vanilla. Deep coffee, chocolate and bourbon in good balance. Excellent.
