Cask at Tustins. Dark brown-amber with lace. Nice hop nose with a touch of caramel. Hoppy, citra flavor, grapefruit and lemon. Not too much caramel in the flavor, especially when considering the color. Tasty stuff.

From tap at Tustins. Pours clear and golden yellow with a small white and lacing head. Aroma is crisp hoppy, light peachy. Bitter, citrusy and crisp hoppy. Ends dry and light bitter. Smooth hoppy into the finish.

CBC reception on tap-pours amber with an offwhite ring. Aroma is pine, 2nd light/medium malt-caramel. Taste is pine hops with some bite, 2nd light/medium malt-caramel.

Draught. Arbitrary score 4/5 for Appearance, as nighttime conditions prevented correct assessment. Nice, if unspectacular, somewhat dimmed C-hops nose. Much more outspoken resingy hops’ flavour, even on the verge of harsh notes. Hop oil galore, if well-thinned by mineral water. Oh well. It remains a squirrel after all, and not one by Monty Python.

On tap. Pours with a black hued body with a lasting tan head and some lace. Aromas are of coffee, roast, earth, asphalt, nutty and chocolate. Roasted grain character is mild. Clean fermentation wise, no hop aromas either. Flavors are roasty, nutty, coffee and earthy. A bit of a biscuity malt character as well. Coffee is there, but not as insane or vibrant as some other coffee porters out there (I guess this might be more balanced...or muted). Medium bubbles, fuller body.

On tap. Pours with clear orange to bronze hued body with an off-white head. Aromas are of caramel, nutty, crystal malt, tropical fruit and decently estery. Flavors are sweet, quite sweet, caramel, crystal sweetness. Fruity, nutty, a bit chalky, estery. Lots of fruity hops. Lively bubbles. Very sweet with a fuller body. Too much crystal character for my palate.
