500ml Bottle - Amber/dark golden in colour with a small head. Malty and slightly fruity aroma with some bready notes. Slightly flat at first, the taste is initially quite fruity with a faint hint of dried apricots. Malty and a light but pleasant bitterness follows. Not too bad and it has more flavour than many similar Latvian beers.

Draught (Citi Laiki, Riga) - Hazy amber in colour with a foamy head. Malty and grassy aroma with some bubblegum and hops also being noticeable. Sweetish taste with peach, passion fruit and some bubblegum notes. Not bad and a cut above many gaisais beers in Latvia.

Bottled. Clear golden, brief head. Aromas of rubber, esters and cellar complimented by butyric acid. Sweet with clean mouthfeel. Lots of cellar and butterscotch. No bitterness. A funky, unclean lager.
