bottle, pours pale gold, thin white head. Lemon and hay aroma. Thin body has a really nice sweet citric hop flavor throughout that ends on the dry side with a little bit of bitterness.

Bottle from Wine Specialist. Hazy pale green color with a vigorous white head. Aroma of something spicey/mentholy. The head laces a bit. Medium bodied with near creamy carbonation. Flavor is lightly sweet herb/grass with some mild spice. It’s floral, but not the way one usually expects. Genepi: " the flavor imparted by the herbs, which include relatives of wormwood, is reminiscent of chamomile or feverfew". Way cool. Absinthe beer! Finishes lightly sweet and herby. Basically this is way out of the mainstream of beer, but it is quite drinkable on its own. It’s a hoot.

Super green - asparagus coloured with a large white head, bunches of fast, large bubbles and a crazy tint - completely wierd! Aroma of herbs, light malt, sweetness and a touch of flowers. Medium-bodied; Odd sweetness up front with a mild malt, a bit of metal and some odd flowers in the flavour. Aftertaste shows a bunch of fake (saccharin) sugars and little else - absolutely horrible. Overall, a pretty wierd and bad beer - definitely not worth trying unless you absolutely love the colour green. I sampled this 33 cL bottle purchased from Whole Foods in Vienna, Virginia on 30-October-2008, sampled on 05-January-2009 at home in Washington.

Is that a 3-pack in the picture? Very cool. 33cL bottle from Whole Foods Charlottesville. Scary but intriguing green color reminiscent of absinthe. Is there wormwood in here? Skunky herbal aroma with an almost candy-like sweetness. Taste is grotesquely sweet with notes of grain, anise, mint and other herbs. Thick texture. Pretty atrocious. OH! After reviewing the website this contains the flower genepi! How could I have missed it! And artificial coloring. FAIL!

Pours a clear yellow with a quickly diminishing head. Aroma is barely there. Some yeast, sweet, some malt, and a little citrus. Coriander is too strong. Some citrus. Ugh, way over-spiced. Medium body. Pretty bad.

Crazy green color, almost no head. Light aroma of herbs and mint. Very simple lager, low bitterness, with a touch of mint syrup. I know what is Genepi, and there isn’t any here…

Draught Well. It’s indeed GREEN. Ugh. And it has a small white rim. Spicey nose: thyme, mint, juniper, and others, which probably means génépi (Artemisia). Whatever that is. Sweet-spicey taste. Pears, herbal, spicey. It MUST be Génépi/gentiane,... no? Light bodied, quite slick. AAARGGHH!

Looks as cider, and seen the head didn’t last 5’... Is this a conspiracy? It even smells of (dried) apples. Some whiff of alcohol, and pale malts, as well as caramel. Very sweet, and somehow, I seem to get coriander flavour. Titillating MF, despite no apparent carbonation, very light bodied, sticky. Empty ending, like a fermented fruit drink. Very poor indeed.
