Cask at The Globe, Central, HongKong. Copper to amber colour, almost clear. Fruity nose with some resin. Sweet and fruity, medium bodied with rounded mouthfeel. The malt profile is somewhat clean and the hpos comes across as s somewhat resiny. Enough complaining - this may not be the greatest pint of hand pumped bitter ever, but it’s a nicely drinkable true to style cask ale with no evident flaws. Slightly unpolished, but still really good. Certainly the best cask ale I’ve had on Chinese territory...
