Swing top bottle 33 cl. A very lively pour leaving a cloudy, opaque reddish amber beer with a solid and steady, beige head. I sense biscuity notes through the foam - but also a vague tartness? Medium body, biscuity malts, slightly toffeeish with an edge of roast. Carbonation now feels very mellow. Subdued bitterness and luckily no tartness - the beer is clean. 310725

Smell of malt, some grass. Golden colour, high white head. Aroma of malt, hay, some citrus and grass. Medium carbon. Medium bitter. Okay.

Thanks omhper! Deep copper colour, small off-white head. Aroma is bitter hoppy with some chocolate and mild sweet malty and toasted tones. Flavour is toasted, mild old coffee with some wooden and mild bitter elements too. Interesting.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours an almost clear, deep golden with a small, off-white head. Odd, unclean aroma. Medium body, decently clean maltiness and then the usual thunder bitterness from these guys. 100525

Swing top bottle 33 cl. Pours a cloudy amber with a creamy and lacing, off-white head. Dusty, oxidized aroma - perhaps a wee hint of caramel. Medium body, malty unclean and buttery with a brutally bitter finish. A mess. 020525

Swing top bottle 33 cl. Pours a clear amber with a small, lacing, beige head. A nose of toffee and nuts. Medium-bodies, massive oaky tannins that ovepowers the poor, subtle beer leaving a bitter, astringent finish. This is a perfect example of how NOT to use oak chips. 020525

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a cloudy, opaque amber with a small, white head. Sweet fruity and malty nose. Medium body, very sweet maltiness with a candy-like note and hardly any bitterness. Not the cleanest or crispiest of Lagers, but absolutely drinkable. 290425

Bottle 33 cl. Pours golden with a slight haze and a white head. Surprisungly yeasty nose. Medium body, malty with a massively bitter finish. A bit simple, and I don't get the yeastiness. 280425
