Swing top bottle 33 cl. Pours a clear, nutty brown with a huge, rich and frothy beige head leaving a neat lacework. Dusty, roasty nose with a faint hint of smoke. Rich, sweet body with lots of sweet licorice notes and some tobacco. Very drinkable for the strength. Nice. 040226

Swing top bottle 33 cl. Pours a clear, nutty brown with a rich, frothy and lacing beige head. Greasy, nutty, slightly roasty nose. Kinda thin-bodied for 6%, lots of English licorice but again this unpleasant, greasy note. No real bitterness. Not all that exclusive. 040226

Swing top bottle 33 cl. Pours a cloudy, opaque brown with an orange hue with a rich and dense, beige head. A discreet, dusty roastiness in the nose. Fairly light body, some malty sweetness and a licorice note - some spice? No real bitterness - more a finish of licorice root. 310725

Swing top bottle 33 cl. A very lively pour leaving a cloudy, opaque reddish amber beer with a solid and steady, beige head. I sense biscuity notes through the foam - but also a vague tartness? Medium body, biscuity malts, slightly toffeeish with an edge of roast. Carbonation now feels very mellow. Subdued bitterness and luckily no tartness - the beer is clean. 310725

Smell of malt, some grass. Golden colour, high white head. Aroma of malt, hay, some citrus and grass. Medium carbon. Medium bitter. Okay.
