Bottle at home. Courtesy of Cunningham. The colour is hazy dark orange colour with small off-white head. The aroma is filled with acetone along with game meat, gooseberries, apricot and grains. Flavour of grains, orange peel and grass. Has a slick and silky mouth feel and slightly astringent. Light body and a light bitterness. This can't be as it supposed to be. Lots of off-flavour and is very strange.

Vi er gått inn i den (ekstra) stille uken, og solkroken frister. det gjør også denne nye fra Lom Bryggeri. Mjødurt spilte en viktig rolle i utviklingen av medisinen aspirin: i 1839 ble salisylsyre for første gang isolert fra blomsterknoppene. Men aspirin irriterter magen, så anvender du mjødurt i stedet, kan mange av de uheldige bivirkningene unngås. Albyl-E (og paralellpreparatene) er jo acetylsalisysyre, så Lomb Mjødurt må da være blodfortynnende. Dufter og smaker både godt og innbydende, mye bedre enn den daglige 75 mg tabletten. Kanskje en profylaktisk dose i form av en daglig 0,5 flaske i stedet vil gjøre meg til et enda bedre menneske? (0,5 flaske fra min Herbarium-baserte leverandør av livsnødvendige substanser. Klar gylden væske med tillitsvekkende skum.)

Clear golden in the glass with a fine white head Ok intensity in the aroma. But not really inviting. Dusty basement ish… Fine carbonation level and an ok sweetness Malty and herbal flavor. The aroma dragged this one down. Apart from that a boring pale lager [Bottle from ChrisOfstad]

Bottle. A clear golden colored beer with a small offwhite head soon diminishing into a ring of bubbles. Herbal, candy-like aroma with some grass and a touch of sourness. It's medium bodied, softly carbonated and semi-sweet. Rather low on bitterness. Herbal, grassy, lightly floral flavor with pale malts in the back. Herbal finish. Sure not a favorite. 191130

KØLF 060919. Golden-amber color with an off-white head. Aroma is fruit, malt, hay. Flavor is fruit, malt, hay, apple, herbs, bread, spices. Ordinary beer.

Bottle. Clear amber body with a small tan head. Aroma has malt, grain, some caramel and a faint hint of herbals. Flavor is medium sweet malt, biscuit, grain, some herbs and low bitterness. Medium body and a bit short in aftertaste. Kind of interesting, but it didn't really catch my interes. Was expecting more from the herbal part.
