Flaske fra Gulating Stavanger, hjemme: vakker, mørk brunrød ravfarge med fint beige skum som varer. Maltdrevet aroma og smak, humleprofilen er heller beskjeden men balansen er allikevel behagelig. Røstet malt, lys sjokolade sammen med et forfriskende streif av røde bær. En riktig god tørstedrikk etter endt malingsøkt på loftet. Deilig maltsmak med myk munnfølelse og god fylde. Kort (og igjen maltpreget) ettersmak.

Fra flaske på RBHD-treff ombord på Fridtjofen, jan-17: lett uklar lys gylden med højt skum. Mild, floral aroma og smak i den søtlige retning. Malt og sommerblomster i tillegg. Lett og behagelig bitterhet i ettersmaken.

Sampled at Gunnfryds Barmy Army New Year’s ticker party 2017. Clear golden body with a big, creamy white head. Not much aroma, some pale malt and grain basically. Pretty weak in flavor as well, pale malt, grain, hint of fruit and spicy yeast, low bitterness. Medium body and short aftertaste. Pretty boring and not particular good either.

Bottle. It’s a pale yellow-ish golden beer with a small, dense, white head. The aroma is quite weak, grainy and grassy, with pale malt notes and a touch of pine cones. It’s quite dry, rather thin and with a decent carbonation. Grainy pale malts, grass, pine cones and some bitterness in the flavor. Lasting bitter, grassy finish. Nothing bad going on here, it’s just plain boring. 170107

Bottle. A dense, off-white head forms over a hazy golden colored beer. The aroma is lightly diacetyl-ish, but mostly on the fruity side. Some pale malts. It’s medium bodied, soft and quite dry, with a nice carbonation. Pale malts, some resins and pine cones, with a grassy touch. Long finish with a nice bitterness.
