Appearance: Foggy pale amber with a tall off-white frothy head of perfect retention. Aroma: Solid malts, citrus fruit, resin, lupulin, sherry, melon. Taste: Medium sweet, medium to heavy bitter. Citrus fruit, resin, sherry, melon. lingering hoppy ending. Mouth feel: Medium to full body, soft to average carbonation. Summary: Pretty good.

Appearance: hazy deep brown, decent beige head Aroma: caramel, treacle, whisky, nuts, toffee, oak barrel. Taste: medium sweet, powerful, caramel, treacle, dried fruit, whisky, oak. Some hop. Light bitterness. Mouth feel: full body, appropriate carbonation. Overall: very good.
