Mahogany brown topped with a beige covering.
Nose is fruit slice, dark malts, nutty, toffee, dried fruit esters, figs.
Taste comprises liquid fruit cake, toffee, toasted brown sugars, vinous, dates.
Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a rising boost offered.
Solid sipper and holds together well for 16%.

Tap at La Fine Mousse, Paris, 1st February 24. Pours a light straw colour. Aroma is tart, herbal, juniper. Taste is tart, refreshing lots of juniper. Lovely tart saison

hazy grey-ish yellow to bright orange colour, medium sized dense ecru-ish head, which lasts for several minutes; aroma of grapefruit, pomelo, some tangerine, intensive celery, pineapple, mango and some resiny notes; taste echoes the aroma with syrupy-biscuity sweetness balanced perfectly by hoppy bitterness and definite horseradish-like, as well as alcoholic spiciness in the aftertaste; just exactly what you expect from a L'apaisée beer! I am really amazed again :)

Amber body, with a small head. Aroma of rhubarb, smooth raspberry, some stone fruits, some citrus, moderate funk, slight almond. Tastes similar. Medium mouthfeel, with an average carbonation. Finishes moderate acidic, medium dry, a bit wooden, fruity, citric, with slight almond. Elegant and balanced, with lovely fruits and just enough acidity. Score: 8 / 4 / 8 / 4 / 16

Bb 31 Sep 2032. Orange, medium hazy body, with a medium, white head. Aroma of sweet and spicy white grapes, white wine, stone fruits, rosemary, wood. Tastes quite similar, with more stone fruits. Medium mouthfeel, with a quite lively carbonation. Finishes medium sour, quite dry, fruity, wooden, vinous, with stone fruits, sweet grapes. Distinctive, sweet and spicy grape notes that lead to some lovely rosemary impression. Really beautiful stuff, elegant and characterful. Score: 8 / 4 / 9 / 4 / 17

0.44l can thanks to Lore. Slightly hazy golden body with a white head. Aroma and taste of sugar syrup, grapefruit and orange zest. Not an overcomplicated IPA, but drinkable.

0,75l bottle at home. Amber hazy color, small white head. smells funky, spices, rhubarb, grassy, subtle flowery. Nice to very nice smell. full body, soft carbonation. tastes raspberry, citric, grassy, earthy, bit funky, bit peppery. finishes lightly dry and lightly sour with notes of citrus, grassy and funky notes. Very nice one, great balance, very good to drink

0,75l bottle at home. yellow cloudy color, small white head. smells grapes, tannins, stone fruits, grassy, earthy. full body, soft carbonation. tastes grassy, earthy, grapes, tannins, peppery, herbal. finishes dry and lightly with notes of grapes, earthy and peppery notes. Very nice one

hazy pale golden colour, large dense white head, which however collapses quite quickly leaving back a centimeter of dense and long lasting head; aroma of acetone, woody, barnyard, lemony, earthy, grape peel and some fruity (apple peel, mainly) notes; taste is similar to the aroma without fruitiness; good one
