Huge pale pink head, with shards of lace, over pinkish scarlet beer, well-carbonated. Intense fruit(syrup) nose, sweet. Sweet taste, but not overmuch so, with a light sourish-fruitish taint, that one could attribute to raspberries. Bit sticky, all the same; well-carbonated, pretty light body. There’s certainly worse, but it’s never going to figure amongst the beers I’d recommend...

Bottle from our B&B landlady in Kortrijk. Its a golden lager, thin white head. It’s an ok pils with some very tasty hop on the finish. Middle malts are a bit poorish, but I like the bite on the finish, really quite aggressive. Straight forward, but tasty and refreshing enough. 3/5 Re-rate, a whole crate from Dranken Pauwels. Love it. Refreshing. My fridge beer for a beer to drink when I come home from work. Simple, good to look at, some hop, lemon and soap on aroma. Some toasted pale malt in mouth, some noble hop bitterness on the finish. Good.

33cl bottle from the woman at our B&B in Kortrijk. Clear gold, thick rocky white head. it’s absolutely fine. A rather understated strong lager. I rather liked the cereal flavours and some fullness in mouth. Very drinkable, nothing to put you off. Needs a bit more hop on the finish perhaps to make it a bit more interesting, but if my local on the corner served this, as it would in Kortrijk, I wouldn’t complain

Bottled. A hazy light golden beer with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet with notes of malt and coriander, and so is the flavor, though added a light note of peaches, leading to a slightly dusty finish.

Bottle, 5%. Distinct coriander aroma. Cloudy yellow colour. Small stable white head. The flavour is OK refreshing, wheat and coriander. A lot like other Belgian wits, but not bad.

Draft at Birerria Paradiso in DC. Bright orange with a creamy head. Straightforward stuff, quite a creamy drinkable body. Filtered, not so far off from a Stella or Jupiler. Nice mellow yeast characteristics though. Borderline macro, OK.
