Ruby brown with a lasting off-white head. Horseblanket and grapefruit in a wonderful cantillon-like aroma. Sweet but tart, ith a rich malty flavour.

25 cL bottle@fonefan/Brugmansia’s Cnudde tasting. Pours clear and golden brown with a lacing tan head. Aroma is fruity wineous aroma. Flavour is dry citric with a mild fruity note beneath. Goes into a dry lingering fruity finish. Very nice.

(Draught at "De Roos ... La Rose", Brussels) On March 24, 2008. Shady pink to red color, lasting fluffy pink head. Very manly! Sweet cherry, almond and cherry pips scent, also sugar. Sweet, sugar, cherry, acidic after a while, some butterscotch taste. Sweet and acidic aftertaste. Moussy mouthfeel, low bitterness.

Bottled. Very deep ruby red colour with small beigeish brown head. Aroma is big time sour fruits along with some freshly cut wood and some hints of mild sour cherries. Flavour is not as sour, and also the fruity notes are weaker than the wooden ones. Not much aftertaste at all. This could be one of the flemish sours that’s mild enough to get people to "get" the style. I prefer the ones which are more sour and dry in flavour than this one though.

Bottle (3.4% ABV). Pours a dark red, clear body, with a small, dense, pinkish-white head. Almond, cherry, some sweetness and sourness in the aroma. Sweetish cherry flavor with almond and a hint of vanilla. Medium full body, slightly sticky in the mouth. Sweetish, yet sour and astringent finish. Quite nice low-alcohol beer, a bit too sweet to be quenching, but quite nice. Sure prefer this to the Jacobins Kriek. (071013)

Bottle. Pours a clear, dark red body, with a small, dense, pinkish-white head. Cherryish nose, a bit flour-like, and sure sweetish. Sweet flavor as well, with cherries of course. Boring, actually. Medium full, sticky mouthfeel, and cherryish finish. Decent. (071013)

Angenehm leichtes Lambic. Test vom 6.12.2007, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 6,11,11,11,6,11 - 10,25
