Can at home. Pours opaque orange with a finger white head. Nose is lightly spicy, citric and grassy hops. Taste is lightly bitter, spicy hoppy, somewhat citric, a tad malty. Nicely balanced all around. Light bodied with average carbo, pretty refreshing.

Can at home. Deep copper pour, thicc white head. Nose is grassy, perhaps a tad piney hoppy, some honey and booze too. Taste is kinda bitter hoppy, but the usual west coast hoppy character is totally missing. There’s a hint of honey-like sweetness here as well and also the booze stands out here and there for some reason. Closes with bitter finish with a lighlty sticky sweet touch, has light body and soft to average carbonation. A fairly basic yet pretty alright IPA, my only problem is that it’s almost completely missing the classic west coast characteristics.

Can at home. Pours reddish pink with virtually no head. Nose is light mango and berries in an actually pretty nice balance but it’s all super faint. Taste follows, shows tast fruity notes but too held back, there’s a spicy hint as well, and a lightly salty-mineral finish. Light bodied with soft carbonation, the body feels almost creamy. Not bad at all, but waaay too restrained.

Can at home. Pours deep brown with a beige head. Nose is nutty chocolate, a hint of vanilla and cocoa powder. Taste is moderatel sweet notes of chocolate, toffee, vanilla and nutty notes. Interestingly the tonka does not come through as marzipan/almonds as it usually does for me. This time it’s more like hazelnut. Anyway, it works. Closes with a nutty chocolate finish with some lactose and vanilla, has a medium to full, nice and creamy body and soft carbonation. Well rounded and tasty, my fav from the brewery so far.

Taster at Belvarosi sorfeszt. Opaque golden pour with a thin white head. Nose is intense tropical fruits and orange and grapefruit. Taste is tart fruity, showing tropical fruits and citruses again with lactic tartness, so far so good, but then there’s an acetic touch that’s kinda persistent and lasts well into the finish. It’s a pity, cause otherwise it would’ve been pretty nice.

Tap at Belvarosi sorfeszt. Pours black with an off-white head. Nose is pine, earthy notes, citruses and cocoa powder. Taste is surprisingly acidic and there’s a good amount of bitterness to it too. There’s coffee, cocoa, some pine and earthy notes. Closes with a dry finish, has a light body and soft to average carbonstion. Wouldn’t be bad if the acidic character was tuned down a bit.

Tap at Hopa. Nothing overcomplex, simply a very well balanced, tasty AIPA that's super drinkable. Moderately sweet, pretty fruity and citrusy with a long bitter finish.

Can at Hopa, thanks to the BPBW crew. Simple pale ale, with resinous hoppy and somewhat earthy, bready malty notes. Doesn’t have any outstanding flaws, but somehow not quite there.

Tap at KEG. Copper pour, off-white head. Nose is sweet caramel and caramelized sugar with resinous hops. Taste is sweet notes of caramel first, then comes the resinous hoppy touch that lasts long into the finish. Light to medium body, soft to average carbonation. Too much caramel for me.

Tap at Lima. Deep golden pour with an orange hue and off-white head. Nose is citric, lightly resinous hops with some fruity esters. Taste is citric, somewhat fruity hops, a touch of pine, low to moderate bitterness, kinda dry. Closing with a dry and bitter finish with fruity overtones, has light body and soft to average carbonation.
