500ml bottle, batch 78, bought at Vinmonopolet Langnes. A bubbly, beige, persisting head to a deep near black coloured body. Clingy lacing. Nicely roasted smell of coffee, earth and chocolate. Lactose hints to a taste profile of grainy chocolate overrun by liquorice towards the ending. Fine bodied. Pleasant, just a bit too much of the liquorice. (Tromsø 30.09.2017).

Fra flaske på Cafe Sånn. Delt med Rune. Gyldengul. Filmskum. Lett sitrusaroma. Smaken som aromaen. Kanskje en anelse krydder i tillegg. Bra - men lite variert.

500ml bottle at Cafe Sånn, thanks to Finn for sharing. Filmy layer, misty yellow body, spotty lacing. Floral nose with herbal fruits. Taste of peaches, herbs, minerals and pears. Mild bitter ending. Just alright. (Tromsø 29.09.2017).

Taste is harsh mineraly, weeds, bloodlike minerals, bark, paper, metal tank, alcohol, old leafs, old moss, harsh hops, old potato cellar. Longlasting harsh bitterness, dry medical mouthfeel. Drainpour!

Bottle. Slightly unclear golden body with a medium sized off-white head. Mild aroma, hint of malt with a touch of berries. Flavor is very plain, some malt, slightly harsh/bitter honey and a touch of fruit/berries. Medium body and short in aftertaste. Boring and undefined in flavors.

Huge white head quickly collapses, leaving thick lacing. Clear brown still body. Resiny fruity nutty aroma with mineraly wine grape aroma. Resiny mineraly taste with minty floral notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Dryish gooseberry jam and minerals aftertaste with spicy floral notes. Interesting, drinkable, and unusual, but not very bitter, nor very English bitter. Flaske 500ml fra Vinmonopolet Tromsø - Sentrum. Batch 78. Drukket på Bergstua 6 Sep 17. Så vidt gjennomskinnelig dyprød / svart. Middels høyt kremaktig skum med litt farge. Tilløp til lacing. Lett sjokoladearoma. Silkemyk munnfølelse. Smaken tørr sjokolade & lakris. Litt bunnfall.

Bottle. A very hazy orange colored beer with a big, soon collapsing to finger thick height, creamy, off-white head leaving some lacing. The aroma is quite orangey, some heavy orange marmelade stuff, with pine cones, hints of honey and some grass. It's rather effervescent on the palate, full to medium bodied, and dryish, yet with a certain sweetness. There's a decent bitterness in the mouth, a bit more than expected actually, and it's both fruity, grassy and resiny, with quite a lot of yeast flavor, which is accentuated in the very end. Else the finish is on the fruity side. My first meeting with Harstad, and I'm not convinced, that's for sure. 170914

Flaske fra Vinmonopolet Verksgata, hjemme en søndagskveld: nesten helt svart, med fint skum som varer. Behagelig aroma og smak med mild kaffe, Freias melkesjokolade og moccabønner. Rund, myk og balansert. Og velsmakende, naturligvis!
