Bottle at home. Pours a slightly hazy amber colour with a huge creamy off-white head. Well-carbonated. Sweet and fruity aroma of oranges, bread crumbs, spices, candy, caramel and heather. The flavor is bitter and less fruity. There�s also some strange roastedness in the background, almost cigarette-like. Grassy tones as well. Has a slick and soft mouth feel, medium body and a light to medium bitterness. In the end a quite strange ale and far from an APA. The aroma was interesting but I�m suspecting an infection, and I can�t find the American hops.

Shared bottle at RB/HD at Sigmund´s 24.02.17. Muddy peach colour. White head and lacing. Aroma of fresh citrus peel. Similar taste, with marmalade and dried citrus zest. Not bad.

Shared 500 ml bottle at local tasting. Cloudy greyish-yellow colour, large white head. Strong aroma of piney hops, also grapefruit. Distinctly hoppy flavour, slightly on the dry side. Some bready notes too.

Shared 500 ml bottle at local tasting. Golden colour, slightly hazy, large white head. Sweetish aroma of candy, ripe yellow fruits and fruity hops. Tolerably hoppy flavour, with a hint of burnt rubber in the background.

Flaske, batch 38, i baren på Harstad kulturhus: Deilig balanse og munnfølelse. Ristet brød, mørk karamell, mørk sjokolade, rosiner og et par hasselnøtter. Lekker bitterhet i fint samspill med den kraftige maltkroppen. Lang og god ettersmak. Mørk brunlig rav med fint skum som varer. Mykt karbonert. Enda en god øl fra HB.
