26 June 2018. Sample at 't Taphuys, Tilburg. Shared with Anke.
Hazy amber/copper with a lasting, small, foamy, off-white head; lots of lacing. Aroma of caramel, raisin, dried fig, walnut, almond, peanut, vanilla, bready malt. It tastes medium malty sweet, hints of raisin & caramel, and light hoppy bitter, a bit nutty with a very light citric sourness. Herbal & grassy hoppy finish, lingering bread & caramel. Medium body, fluffy texture, soft carbonation. A distinctly modern Amber Ale.
