The taste is bitter, toasty, quite soft, umami, earthy roast, light ash, sweet dried berries, nuts and Eccles cake. Medium body and fine carbonation. Fairly average.

Chelmsford Summer Beer Festival. Lightly hazy gold beer, no head. Palate is light with very modest carbonation. The pale malts are clean but not that sweet. Mild marmalade citrus before a smooth semi dry finish and a mellow bitter linger. Standard golden in not the best shape.
