3/10/2020. Bottle at the Torun GP bottle-share, from Hopsters, Ipswich. Gusher! Poured cloudy/bitty amber orange with a large foamy white head. Aroma of toffee, malt, hop, biscuit, fruit. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness. Moderate body, average carbonation. Earthy bitter finish. Aside from the theatrics and looks and lacking some body, this was actually quite tasty.

23rd August 2020
A pond water brown beer, with a smattering of bubbles that never come close to forming a head. Palate is a bit thin for the style and has just a modest fine minerally carbonation. Light caramel malts, not particularly sweet. Tangy ripe orange, a little orange peel. Something like wet wood bitterness runs underneath. Light finish. Clunky and not particularly drinkable barleywine.

29/XI/19 - 50cl bottle, shared @ post-Billie's tasting (77ships’ place), BB: I/2019 (what? I just got this? Though I’ll be honest, I have no clue where I got it) - (2019-2026) Thanks to whomever got me this bottle!

Cloudy dark brown beer, big fizzy aery head, very stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: malty, caramel, lots of coffee all right, milk chocolate notes. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: bitter, nice roast, lots and lots of coffee, caramel. Aftertaste: dry, very bitter, hoppy, malty, hoppy bitterness, dry, bit herbal, more roast, nice but not great.
