50cl fles van De Laat. Goudgele kleur, witte kraag. Aroma van gras en rubber, wat dennen, licht moutig, beetje rubber in de smaak ook, gras, hint van citrus, bittere finish. Lichte body, weinig koolzuur. Rubber is echt geen fijne geur.

Near black with a tan head. Aroma of big cocoa and chocolate milkshake powder. Flavour is above moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

EURO box can, from Gedeelde Vreugde. 26/6: Italy - Austria. Clear light brown, quickly thinning, off-white head. Aroma of apple cake, pear, 'bavarois', cinnamon, brioche, pistachio, biscuit, apricot jam. Taste has sweet apple (sauce), pear & plum in a firm cake-like & biscuity malt body, spicy cinnamon & some nuts on top. Herbal hoppy finish, dry apple peel, spices & cookie, bit tart weirdly enough. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Nice liquid cake, Cinnamon Danish was better though. No cinnamon mentioned on the can as far as I remember, seems almost impossible.

EURO box can, from Gedeelde Vreugde. 26/6: Italy - Austria. Hazy yellow, thin, white head. Aroma of limoncello, lemongrass, lime juice, candied orange peel, Turkish delight, sorbet, smoothie. Taste has sweet-sour lemon & lime, in a candied way somewhat, creamy & sorbetty malt body with some sweet mandarin. Tart, lemony finish, no hops, juicy, acidic, candied still but very refreshing. Medium body, slick texture, average carbonation. Nice!

EURO box can, from Gedeelde Vreugde. 26/6: Wales - Denmark. Cloudy black, small, foamy, beige head. Aroma of cinnamon bun, gingerbread, speculoos, milk chocolate, mocha, raisin, vanilla, cream. Taste has sweet fig & raisin covered in a chocolatey, biscuity body, spicy cinnamon on top with sweet lactose note and slightly bitter coffee. Earthy-herbal hoppy finish, dark chocolate, sweetened creamy coffee, more cinnamon & clove. Medium body, creamy texture, soft carbonation. Very rich at only 6% - happy breakfast!

EURO box can, from Gedeelde Vreugde. 26/6: Wales - Denmark. Cloudy orange, small, foamy, off-white head. Aroma of apple compote, pear, unripe apricot, bread dough, rusk, golden raisin, old orange. Taste has sweetish apple, apricot and pear over a thick bready-doughy, cereally malty base, yeasty, bitter notes of grass & straw. Earthy hoppy finish, dry-yeasty, lingering old bitter fruit & rusk. Medium body, creamy texture, soft carbonation. Does live up to its name, nice to see an example of the style.

Pours like ultra thick motor oil, jet-black, headless. Concentrated malt syrup, bit walnut, Islay malt, phenols, if mainly sweet smelling, biscuit. Seriously phenolic, tarred poles, Islay malt, chocolate malt, and a bit mineral. Thick as balm, sharp burning feel, oily texture, undercarbonated. A serious punch, but you'll feel lucky to have received it.

Bottle from 100 pív Quite hoppy lager. Certainly nice hoppy aroma. Medium bitterness, bit watery, hoppy feel. Not sure Slovakia deserves such a good beer for our performance on euro.
