Taste is very light sweet and light bitter with notes of banana, white pepper, bubblegum and earth. Medium bodied with medium carbonation. Tame Weizen.

500 ml bottle as ’Jörger Weisse Dunkel’, bb 30.12.2015.
Copper-brownish, hazy body, with a medium, fluffy, beige head.
Aroma of dried fruits, some sour cherries, ripe banana, bread, some caramel, some spices.
Taste follows this, but a bit lighter, with less sour fruits and some more orange.
Medium, a bit creamy mouthfeel, with a lively carbonation.
Finishes wheaty, bready, medium spicy, a bit fruity, a bit sweet.
Good. The nose is quite interesting, with nice sweet and sour fruit notes. Taste is a bit too flat for my liking. Overall nothing wrong with this beer, but I’ve had better style examples.

330 ml bottle from Verde 1080, bb 19.05.2016.
Amber, moderate hazy body, with a quite small, fluffy, a bit lacing, off-white head.
Aroma of honey, nuts, grains, grass, some sweet fruits, some sweet-spicy barrel notes.
Taste follows this, with subtle hoppy notes and a bit alcohol.
Medium, creamy mouthfeel, with a moderate carbonation.
Finishes a bit light, medium dry, wooden, a but spicy, a but hoppy, a bit sweet, slightly alcoholic.
Nice one. A quite typical Heller Bock base, with well integrated, smooth barrel notes. Works really well and drinks pretty smooth. Not the best style example I’ve had, but quite above average in my opinion.

330 ml bottle, bb 23.05.2016.
Dark yellow, cloudy body, with a small, frothy, off-white head.
Aroma of clove and other spices, wheat, dried fruits, banana, orange, bread.
Tastes of banana, dried fruits, spices, orange, bread, some vanilla, some sour fruits.
Medium, a bit oily mouthfeel, with a lively carbonation.
Finishes spicy, quite dry, yeasty, fruity, a bit sweet.
Nice one. Nothing special overall, a bit light bodied, but refreshing and quite well balanced. Not really different to a regular 5.x % ABV Hefeweizen though.
