Half-liter import bottle. Time for a break from Oktoberfests and pumpkin beers. Pours a cloudy orange with lots of bubbles, and a frothy head that quickly thins out. Clean bright weiss smell with a touch of banana and clove. Taste is a little over sweet, or perhaps extra malty. Brings in that banana, and a side of lemon spritz. A little better than average, but worth a try.

An hazy golden yellow weizen with a creamy lacing white head, classy and inviting. Nice aroma of lemon custard pie, and fruity esters. In mouth, a nice wheaty malt, with creamy mouthfeel, gum balloon, bananas and lemon. Medium bodied. Very good. Bought at BOTW August 2006, served in Weizen glass.

Not nearly as good as my Maisels. Citrus aroma but something is off. Light gold and a quickly fading head. No sediment. It is like a cross between a real hefeweizen and a bad American wheat. A little thin, but ok.

Cloudy yellow-apricot body, thin off-white head. Slight tartness in the aroma, crisp, bready, and grassy, with banana notes. Quite bready body with clove, banana, flavored like a typical hefeweizen but lighter and creamier like a witbier. Sharp, light spicy aftertaste. Smooth and well-carbonated. Very nice; about as quaffable a wheat beer as there is.

(Bottle 50 cl) Very typically Hefeweizen by German standards. Orange - or pehaps straw-golden colour, hazy with a very white head. Very soft, a bit low in carbonation, very fruity and very fresh. An excellent Weizen. 050503

Bottled. Pale golden with rich, creamy head. Aroma of malt and grapefruity hops. Rounded and medium sweet, highly aromatic with a spicy bitterness. An unorthodox, interesting pilsener.

Light brown/orange colour. The usual German Wheat head. Yeasty aroma with lots of esters. Full bodied, sweet-ish with cloves and some faint notes of pepper-mint. Very quenching!
