Description
We are 'Korea's Beer Hippie Nomadic.'
Instead of competitions, fairs, collaborations, or paid advertising, we're focusing on creating a culture of brewpubs and beer gardens.
Since the owner brews and operates them himself, they offer a wide range of beers, from classic beers that stick to the basics to fresh and experimental ones. They actively use premium ingredients as well as local ones and have been running a barrel aging program for five years and producing naturally fermented beer.
Nomadic is the oldest craft beer brewery in Jeollabuk-do, currently operating three spaces in Jeonju. The first is a brewery situated on a cozy wedding street designed by the brewery. The second is Korea's first standalone beer garden inside a traditional hanok village, where tradition breathes. The third and last place is Nomadic Beer Temple, located across from the brewery.
All three spaces fully embody Jeonju's diverse architectural heritage.
Over the past six years, they have brewed over 70 types of beer, more than 20 of which were created with truly unique ingredients. 99% of Nomadic's beer is sold exclusively to customers who visit our store, without any external distribution. We truly love beer, but as our motto "Balanced Beer, Balanced Life" suggests, we cherish a life beyond just brewing. That's why we connect with nature through activities like camping or hiking and prioritize environmental consideration when making every decision.
Nomadic uses the most organic rice among domestic breweries to make beer.
Run directly by an American representative who truly loves Korea, you can experience a special atmosphere where diverse cultures harmoniously blend.
Creating jobs and collaborating with local artists and artisans is also a great source of pride for us. So far, three historic buildings in Jeonju have been breathed new life into them, and we plan to continue reinvesting steadily to preserve the city's architectural heritage.

The brewer is committed to using Korean ingredients to accent his beers, and those are some of this brewery's best works (see also Dream Weaver). In this imperial stout, it's a dark rice syrup. Dark brown. Soft, very well balanced. Has a nice dark rice syrup accent. Hints of dark chocolate, mellow bitterness for balance. One of those imperial stouts you end up drinking too much of.

Amber, thick head, really nice roasted yam, chestnut, really taps into those autumnal flavours. Very soft. Excellent. Oh I like this way more than I thought i would.

A gold beer, with slight biscuity malt note and a touch of hop as well. Sort of a mild easy drinking beer.

Soft body, light gold, gentle pale malts, so all told itβs not bad for cream ale. But it is cream ale that so a bit light and low hopped for what I want to drink.

This was a fairly chewy amber, not much hop brightness but it does have a decent malt character.

Vibrant amber, thin head. Bright floral, homey notes with a touch of mandarin orange. The brewer/co-owner is from Michigan and this is made with MI centennials. Such a fun character to those hops.

Throwback to those cans from the Asian groceries. I can drink those anymore, but I can drink this. Very big coffee taste, a bit thin and sourish. A heavy coffee character.
