On tap at Varionica birthday party at Craft Room, Zagreb. Unclear golden, small head. Moderate hoppy aroma, fruity, stone fruit, sweet apricot, dried apricot, some tropical notes, a spicy touch, a toasty touch underneath. Medium to full body, moderate to high carbonation, light bitterness. Mineral, a vague sulphury touch. Slightly bland, spicy, fruity flavour. Abrupt finish.

Bottle from Žabac, shared with Hrabren. Murky yellow-golden body, off-white head. Actually remarkably good aroma, fresh peach juice mixed with light coconut and some citric, woody undertones. Peach, some coconut and citric notes in the taste as well. Bit leaner and drier in the finish, than expected, but clean and dry enough. Very pleasant, well balanced, actually, potentially the best Varionica regular beer I've had in a while.

0.33 l bottle thanks to Marko, shared with him. Hazy orange, small to medium creamy off-white head. Citrus, grapefruit and ripe mango at first. Honeydew melon next. Some berries, vanilla and bread. Hints of spice. A bit rough at first, light body, drinkable. Fruity, melon, slightly earthy. Easy-going. Light finish. Surprisingly fresh.

Bottled@HBF2018. Black colour, small beigeish brown head. Aroma is toffee, some dried fruits, alcohol and mild lactose sweetness. Flavour is toffee, some roasted malts, chocolate, lactose and quite sweet overall. Nicely balanced and bodied.

@HBF2018. Deep golden colour, small off-white head. Aroma is floral, toffeeish, grainy and some slight yeasty notes. Flavour is fruity, floral, herbal, mild grainy and some slight yeasty/spicy notes to it.

Bottle, 0.33l. Cloudy amber pour, one finger frothy off-white head, medium retention. Broken lacing on the glass. Sour nose, ripe fruity notes, wine vinegar, lime. Light body, lively carbonation. Average mouthfeel and texture, soft, fizzy, lightweight. Aroma of wine vinegar, citric acid, ripe fruits and lime. Yeasty notes in the background. Short lasting finish, dry and tart. Pretty much your average sour.

Bottled 330ml. -Unclear golden coloured, medium sized white head, mild fruity nose. Big yeast sediment at the bottom. Fruity, yeasty, touch of apples and some oxidation with bitterish sweet finish. BBE 09/23 but almost dead in February.
