Lahev bez patentního uzávěru (0.75 l; gšeft s Rotinem, děkují mockrát!): Golden, hazy, medium-sized white head with a lttle lace; mild to moderate dryish hoppy (mainly Saazy, as expected), some yeasty aromas in the background; moderate dryish bitter flavour with a very well subdued sweetness, pretty light bodied with just a very small malty base; dry and lingering and tart hoppy finish. V pořádku, ale to není nejlepší Ležák...

Deep black with medium brown head. Aroma is butter, candle wax, walnut. Taste is the good kind of bitterness of coffee, and some hoppy sourness. Finish is more licorice, and sadly butter. Medium nutty body. If it didn’t have the butter i would really like it.

Tap at 20 PIP. Black color with beige head. Aroma is milk chocolate, lacto. Taste is more chocolate and lacto. Low to medium carbonation, oily mouthfeel. A bit butter as well. Ritzn, again, k is overwhelmed by the butter - maybe I am not so sensitive to diac im dark beers. I like it.

Bottle from Damian. Poor head retention. Too simple, fruity, general fruitiness. Lacks any real spicy yeast derived Belgian complexity. Carbonation low. Boring. Meh.

Bottle from Damian. Considerable diacetyl right up front the nose. Other than that there is moderate general fruitiness, lightly citrusy. Sweetish buttery impression. Large white head, good retention. Clear orange-amber colour. Considerable amount of sediment floating around. Taste follows in the established direction, though not as badly as the aroma may suggest. Just enough bitterness to counter the strong diacetyl and moderate malt. Hops flavour is restrained, showing only light general fruitiness and some citrus fruits. Average.
