Der ukrainische Pestdoktor ist ein Black IPA, das schon fast in RIchtung Porter. Es ist fast schwarz und hat wenig feinporigen Schaum. Geschmacklich mischen sich schokoladige mit intensiven Hopfenaromen die es recht interessant machen. Auch wenn es nicht ganz perfekt ist, hat es mir doch gut geschmeckt

500ml can. Hazy, yellow-ish, golden colour with absurdely huge, thick, creamy, moderately to mostly lasting, moderately lacing, white head. Citrusy fruity, slightly piney and grassy, hoppy aroma, oaty malty background, notes of lemon, whiffs of yuzu, some lemongrass, a touch of unripe pineapple. Taste is citrusy fruity hoppy, initially rather alcoholic, sugary pale malty and oaty basis, notes of lemon, lemon drops, some lemongrass; minimally alcoholic finish with slightly warming effect. Watery texture, slightly dry palate, medium, mildly prickly carbonation. Very citrusy, nice lemon flavours - good.

From tap @Vaat Taproom, Tallinn. Poured hazy light orange in color. Light bodied NEIPA, not really showing the Nelson hops here. Juicy, no bitterness, weak flavorwise.

Op tap bij The Scrapyard. 10% volgens het bord. Bijna zwarte kleur, beige kraag. Zoet, vanille, eik, rozijntjes, hout, hint van zalf, wat caramel, de oak chips geven ook een licht lijm-achtig karakter wat mij licht stoort. Medium body.

On tap at Põrgu, Tallinn. Pours pitch black with a beige head. Roasty and spicy with cocoa and hints of milk. Sweet, desserts and quite flavourful. Fairly balanced and enjoyable.

Tap at Goblet ZG. Murky orange body, off-white head, thick. Bit old, citric candy touches in the aroma, some herbs. Caramelly, citric, cheese, a, bit tropical taste, ending a bit bitterish. Is ded, shows promise.
