Aroma of dark chocolate, peat, roasted malt, caramel, wood, whiskey, liquorice. Moderate sweetness, medium roasted bitterness. Full body, oily slick texture, soft to flat carbonation. Peaty boozy finish. Not bad but quite heavy good.

--Sample, thanks fonefan! -- Clear orange/brown, small head. Aroma of rowanberries, saw dust and vinegar. Citric with medium body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Tart berries, freshly sawed wood, vinegar. Low bitterness.

1/2/2022. Bottle sample courtesy of Danish pint boys, cheers. Pours clear pale golden amber with a small bubbly white head. Aroma is funky, horse blanket, woody, fruity, tart. Moderate sweetness, medium sour. Medium body, average carbonation. Slight salty edge to the sour to finish. Very nice.

--Sample, thanks fonefan! -- Acetic nose with some smoked rubber. Citric with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Sharp vinegar and citric acid, lots of smoke and burnt rubber, notes of prunes. Aggressive and flawed. Rebrew can do better.

330ml bottle [8.4% abv as per label, added sticker says 12.0%]. Jet black colour with small, creamy, fading, minimally lacing, tan head. Relatively weak, sweet-ish, toasty, chocolately, dark malty, minimally nutty, slightly alcoholic aroma, notes of dark chocolate, couverture, a touch of coconut, dark caramel, Bourbon, fruity overtones with a touch of raisin and plum. Taste is initially roasty, woody, dark and caramel malty, hints of dark caramel, burnt caramel, a minimally tannic, oaky touch, additionally some coconut in the middle part, the tannic, woody touch fades out in the last third and gives way for chocolately, dark malty flavours; slightly alcoholic and minimally fruity (raisin, plum) finish. Viscous tecture, smooth, soft and silky, minimally cloying palate, fine and soft carbonation. Complex but slightly disharmonious, edgy; well adjusted coconut adjunct, nice fruity flavours, improvable malt flavours - below average.
