Brasserie Champigneulles
Contract Brewer
in Champigneulles,
Grand Est,
France 🇫🇷
Owned by
TCB Beverages
Established in 1897
In 1966, it merged with the Brasseries de la Meuse and the Brasserie de Charmes to create the Société européenne de brasserie (S.E.B). Within this new group, which has 23 production sites in France for a production of 6 million hectoliters, Champigneulles has long been the most important site. The brewery remained a family establishment until 1970, when the S.E.B was taken over by the BSN group. In 1986, S.E.B merged with Kronenbourg, also acquired by the BSN group.
Danone (formerly BSN) sold Brasseries Kronenbourg to the Scottish group Scottish & Newcastle in 2000. In 2006, Brasseries Kronenbourg and Scottish & Newcastle sold the Champigneulles brewery to the German group TCB.

25 cl. dark amber colour. sweet, triple-like nose. The beer starts malty, sweet-smooth. The mainpart is not too sweet, banana, pear, smooth and slightly bitter. Seems to be brewed with sugar. The aftertaste is long, slightly sweet, nearly no hops, smooth banana, vanilla and pear aroma. --> interesting and nice beer! --> 12/10/9/10
