Golden color with no head. Medium body. Mild round sweetness and an oily texture. Fruity and flowery aroma. Fruity, honey and apple flavour. Reminds me of Austrian Eiswein. Nice to an dessert.

Bottle. Pours smooth pale golden. Non-oily texture. Sweetish aroma of lozenge water. Ecscessively sweet and boozy flavour with an eerie bitter finish. I have tasted better meads, but it’s good on a busy Friday night.

my second mead rating ceramic 70 cl bottle, 15%. How am i ever going to empty this one.. Best before who knows, it doesn’t state anywhere. shame on you A duus, unless it will keep fresh forever. pours clear light yellow with no head but some bubbles. looks exactly like uncarbonated pear juice, quite faint yellow. stingy pear, apple, honey, syrup, lime. flavor is honey, lots of honey, syrup, sweetness, aftertaste is honey. spices in the flavor. alittle lime to keep it drinkable. Its like the free shot you get at a restaurant after dinner, but perhaps a little more tasty. alc. very well hidden, if i should guess i’d say it was 4 or 5 pct. (not used to mead). alc can be felt in the mouth. like drinking honey, most ppl will find ths too sweet i guess.
