28/08 0.33 l bottle from Coop store, Gradisca d’Isonzo. It poured copper body with smaller head. Caramel malty and a bit alcoholic aroma. Slightly bitter, alcohol biting flavor, malty in honey and overripe peach way, being sweetish on that side. Medium body with sharp and crude fruity finish. A bit boring and quite a disappointment, like on almost all of their other beers, after I tried their pale ale which was great.

25/08 0.33 l bottle from from Coop store, Gradisca d’Isonzo. It poured amber body with smaller to medium sized head that disappeared soon. Sweet caramel and wood aroma, touch of alcohol. Fine, slightly bitter wood and earthy flavor balanced with lot of sweetish caramel. A bit strange and interesting, but pleasant. Medium bodied with a bit more pronounced dryness in the finish. Pretty fine, though nothing special for a vienna really.

25/08 0.33 l bottle from from Coop store, Gradisca d’Isonzo. It poured deep golden body with medium sized head. Fine malty biscuit and bread aroma, touched with lemon hops. Flavor, on the other hand isn’t so nice, slightly acidic, corny and soggy stinky clothes. Bit metallic at the beginning. Watery, thin bodied. Finish was showing again some weak herbal hops, but still preserved lot of bad flavor. I doubt in condition of this one as well, though other rates don’t promise much. As such, it’s not particularly good and scores so high only of the first two entries.

25/08 0.33 l bottle from from Coop store, Gradisca d’Isonzo. It poured lighter golden body with medium sized head. Malty flowery aroma, weaker notes of floral and grass hops. Weaker, slightly sourish flavor, a bit stale. Fine malt underneath, medium bodied, longer finish, stale but much less and shows some fine dry herbal hops that help a lot on this beer. Wondering if this is in bad shape, though it has a whole year to its BB date.

Another one of heavy’s (thanks!) Poured a brown-amber body with a small white head. Carrot, dust light honey in the nose and something I can’t decypher. Fruity malty taste, light crappy yeastiness. Ok.

Another one of heavy’s. Tiny white head, lovely full amber body. Woody sweet caramelly malty nose. The nice, sweet woody maltiness dominates the taste, quite earthy. Gets a bit dry and bitter at times. More complex than it seems at first. Good job.

Courtesy of and shared with heavy, thanks! Full golden body medium-medium head, white. Creamy dry malty nose, sweetish, quite nice! Creamy taste, crappy, slightly fishy, herbal, not much bitterness. Meh.

0.33l bottle courtesy of heavy, thanks! Pale golden body, medium whize head. Grainy malty, dryish full nosr, brittle. The nice maltiness goes into the taste, bit creamy taste surrounded by a washed-out salty bitterish hopiness. Ok beer.

13/08 0.33 l bottle from Coop store, Gradisca d’Isonzo. It poured copper body with small head. Fine yeasty and biscuit aroma, touched with caramel. Nice flavor as well, elegant malts with spices like cloves. Slightly sweet fine caramel base. Medium bodied. Long and tasty finish, caramel and slightly bitter spicy. More similar to some lighter Belgian ales than English ones, but it’s greatly underrated here. Nice.

Bottle. Pours golden, with a light head. Aroma is not bad, with notes of caramel and sweet citrus. Flavour also has some notes of citrus, but mostly it’s bitterly unpleasant notes of sour cabbage and yeast.
