Can (from Vinmonopolet Kirkenes). Hazy golden colour with a mediumsized white foamy head. Aroma is floral, some herbal, grassy and mild nectary tones. Flavour is fruity, floral, some mild spruce and wooden tones with mild sweet malts and a bit berries to it as well. Mellow bitterness.

0,44 boks fra Vaaland 1889, hjemme: lett uklar gylden med fint skum som varer. Floralt, krydret anslag med behagelig syrlighet i en slank maltkropp. Akkurat slik jeg forventet etter beskrivelsen på boksen. Lettdrikkelig og nokså forglemmelig.

Can. A brown one with a dense, finger-thick beige head. The aroma is lightly burnt, roasted, with some prune and dark chocolate. Toffee. It's medium bodied and quite dry on the palate, a bit heavily carbonated and with a genlte bitterness. Roasted malts, burnt notes, dark chocolate, toffee and coffee in the flavor. Some prune and dried fig towards the finish. Decent, nothing particular going on. 241226
