Moving my rating here because the tap said Kellerbier and it seemed like a Keller, despite the menu saying Helles. Glass from the tap in Italy. Lightly hazy, huge lasting head, still there minutes later. Medium bodied, fresh, great balance of grain notes and smooth bitterness. Earthy with a hint of malt.

Van het vat @ Kronplatz, Bruneck. Helder geel bier met mooie schuimkraag. Smaak is licht bitter hoppig en licht fruitig met iets van citrus. Mooi bier.

Fles in restaurant San Martin de Tor. Lichtbruin bier met weinig schuim. Ongebruikelijke kleur voor een Weissbier maar heeft wel de typische smaak. Ietwat bitterzoet en kruidig. Niet slecht.

33 cl. bottle @ home, gift from Rick. Clear light golden with a white head. Grainy straw aroma. At first the aroma is a bit faint but after a tiny warm up it becomes spicier. Taste is medium bitter with a dry finish. Indeed more German than some German beers.
